how do u keep a sippie cup away from a 3 yr.old while asleep. and waking up at 2,3,4, am for more apple juice in her sippie cup.
Most of my kids toys are battery operated so I am unable to wash the items in water. But the corners and crevices are gross. I can’t get a washcloth in there. My fingers are too big. How can I clean them?

Right now I have her in one of them reversable cribs that change into a toddler bed and then a full size bed when old enough. But I decided to go ahead a change it back into a crib for my new born instead of buying a new crib. Where would be a good place to look?
Also do you think it would be cheaper to do it the way I am doing it or do you think it would be cheaper just to buy a new crib?
My daughter is 2 yrs 4 mos old. She is an outdoor girl and as a result i see that her knees have got tanned and i see her legs getting tanned as well. How do I take care of her skin and prevent from tanning?

Is simply shampooing toddlers hair, good enough?
I have a 3 yr. old who has the attitude of a 13 yr. iold & I can’t get her to stop being so hateful & smart with me, she even does it to my husband sometimes. But mostly me & I can’t understand why. We don’t talk to her like that. Could this be a result of sibling jealousy? We also have a 3 month old daughter.
I’ve tried Walmart, Target, and Burlington Coat Factory. Walmart only carries character toddler bedding, I didn’t find any at Target, and Burlington Coat Factory only had a few selections.
Anyone have any ideas?
I have a 2 year old son and have been potty training him for a few months now, but it seems like such a long process. He only goes to the potty when I tell him to. I hope to have him potty trained by the time he is 3 years old. Any potty training tips?

A lot of times we don’t know a child is sick until days later when symptoms are more evident to the parent. With all the ‘bugs’ going around this winter, I am trying to figure out the best way to disinfect and clean my sons toys after finding out about such situations…
Part of the problem is that some toys are more easily cleaned than others. (due to the materials) I also try to use organic type cleaners when possible. Afterall, these toys end up in kids mouthes and I don’t want to put anything on the toy that I wouldn’t put in their mouths. Yes, I know… they eat dirt and pick things up off the floor to eat, but that is not a parents’ intention; it just happens… I also know kids need to get sick to build immunity, but some illnesses are better off avoided!! Mom is tired and there are still a couple months left of winter. Yikes.
Any tips on how to ween my toddler of the pacifier? She only has it at nap and bed time. She will be 2yrs the end of March and we are currently potty training.
